Inside Higher Ed essay

An opinion piece of mine appeared today on Inside Higher Ed. It argues that applied humanities approaches are needed in higher ed, particularly for STEM majors. The essay, entitled "Why We need Applied Humanities," uses my "Fiction for Specific Purposes" model as an example of an applied humanities approach.
